About Sorghum Partners® Products

Sorghum is a high yielding, nutrient-efficient and drought tolerant crop that can be cultivated on over 80% of the world’s agricultural land. Sorghum’s unique characteristics allow farmers to meet the growing demands for sustainable food, feed, and biomass production while reducing the cost of inputs such as water. Its geographic distribution spans temperate to tropical climates, and its rich genetic diversity allows for multiple specialized uses.

Grain Sorghum Hybrids

For our grain sorghum portfolio, we accessed elite germplasm from around the world to bring to market hybrids of superior field performance with key attributes such as maximum insect and disease resistance, grain quality, harvestability, and tolerances to extreme weather conditions such as drought.

Forage Sorghum Hybrids

Forage sorghum has highly digestible forms that are used in traditional agriculture and bio-industrial processes. As forage sorghum is used mainly for cattle grazing, hay production and silage, our forage sorghum hybrids feature superior stem quality, standability, high sugar levels, high dry matter production, and low prussic acid levels.

SP2774

A brown mid-rib silage hybrid with good yields across several geographies, particularly in the Great Plains and Midwest.

NK300

NK300 is best adapted for high quality dairy silage.

HIKANE II

A sweet-stalked, medium maturing hybrid with high yield performance.

SS304

A medium-full maturing hybrid with a sweet, juicy stalk and high yield performance.

SS405

A late maturing, tall silage hybrid with high tonnage yield performance.

SP1615

A photoperiod sensitive (headless), late maturing, and tall silage hybrid with high tonnage yield performance.

SP3904 BD BMR

A brachytic dwarf/BMR forage sorghum with excellent standability that produces high quality silage in 110 to 115 days.

SP3905 BD BMR

A brachytic dwarf/BMR forage sorghum with excellent standability that produces high quality silage in 85 to 90 days.

SP4105

A sorghum x sudangrass hybrid that can expand the window for usage because it will not head under most conditions.
